Born to Be Wild: Unlocking Stuctural Anatomy in Your Yoga Practice

    • Our bodies' inherent structures and our own histories combine to make each of us uniquely different.  In this session, we will discuss variations in skeletal structures and the impact on our yoga poses. Participants will experience variations within poses and practice the change in pose shape to meet their own alignment needs.  This will encourage the asanas (poses) to be available and to work for ALL bodies for a lifetime!

11:00 - 12:30pm: Workshop II - Kim Fenton

     Yoga Intelligence

    • Learn how to unite movement and breath as you tap into an inner intelligence.  This inner intelligence acts as a guiding force behind the mind body connection.  Build new neural pathways & increase neural plasticity as you learn to free areas of your mind and body that were previously blocked.

12:30 - 1:30pm: Break, Lunch and Network (12$ Voucher included)

1:30 - 3:00pm: Workshop III

     Elements Flow

    • Join Jayme for a yoga flow that explores all five elements of nature.  This session is designed to help you connect with your practice through the lens of the elements and develop a personal yoga practice that fosters a sense of wholeness in daily life.  Jayme will guide you through a flow and spend time afterward explaining how each part of the practice relates to the elements, deepening your understanding of how they can guide your actions in a personal yoga ritual and daily living.

E-RYT500, YACEP

    • I stepped into my first yoga class in March of 2014.  I had a past of injuries that caused me daily pain, so the physical component was a bit intimidating and I didn't know if I'd be up to it.  I quickly learned that with the use of blocks and modifications, yoga met me right where I was at.  After months of regular practice, my body was no longer in pain.  The mental benefits were also pronounced.  What first started off as "stress relief" slowly began to evolve into a greater sense of self-awareness and mindfulness.  It became very important that I help share this profound practice of both mind and body with others.  In 2015, I trained and began my teaching journey in Atlanta, GA. In 2018, I returned to Springfield, MO and am grateful to have continued the journey!  When I'm not on the mat, you can find me making beeswax candles, taking long walks with my four pups, or going down a UFO rabbit hole with my husband, Josh.  Whether you come to class for physical, mental, community, or other, I can't wait for our journeys to merge and to help guide one another along the way!
