Container Gardening
Gardening helps us understand what we eat, encourages us to grow what we eat, helps save money, and aids in stress relief. The workshop will cover seed starting, planning a garden, planting, harvesting, and seed saving of various seeds. You will learn how to garden and plant seeds such as micro-greens, spinach, kale, lettuce, and herbs in a 1-gallon plant grow bag.
*Please bring gardening gloves if you have them and we will have extra gloves at the workshop as well.

DATE 1 : Join our dietetic interns for an interactive session on Container Gardening with Herbs. Discover how to grow fresh, flavorful herbs right on your windowsill or patio, no yard required! Learn how to incorporate these nutrient-packed plants into your meals for better health. You'll leave with practical tips and the knowledge to create your own herb garden at home.

DATE 2: Get your hands dirty and your health thriving! Join our dietetic interns for a hands-on workshop, Starting Vegetables from Seed, where you'll learn the art of growing your own produce. Understand the health benefits of farm-fresh vegetables and how to add them to your diet for a nutritional boost.
