Magers Health and Wellness Center is the medical home for the Missouri State community.

​​​​Our medical and professional staff are dedicated to providing quality health and preventive care at minimum cost.

COVID‑19 vaccine status

All Missouri residents ages 12 and up are eligible to receive the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. The single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine is approved for ages 18 and up.

A federally approved administration fee will be charged for people with insurance and should be paid fully by the insurance.

Third dose vaccinations

Magers is administering third dose Pfizer Covid-19 vaccinations by appointment for patients with moderate to severe immune compromise.

The third dose Pfizer vaccination is only for ~ 3% of the US population who are moderately to severely immunocompromised.

Magers will follow CDC guidelines for these vaccinations, which is only for people who meet one of the following criteria:

  • Been receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood.
  • Received an organ transplant and are taking medicine to suppress the immune system.
  • Received a stem cell transplant within the last 2 years or are taking medicine to suppress the immune system.
  • Have moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (such as DiGeorge syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome).
  • Have advanced or untreated HIV infection.
  • Have active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress the immune system.

The third dose Pfizer vaccination should occur at least 28 days after the patient’s second dose Pfizer vaccination. The appointment can be made on the Magers MyHealth portal webpage, by the patient if they meet these CDC guidelines.

Vaccination cards

  • If someone needs a COVID‑19 vaccination card, they should contact Magers Medical Records and we will complete one for them.
  • If one is traveling or needs an immediate digital copy of their COVID‑19 vaccination, this can be obtained in the Immunization Section of their Electronic Health Record at the Magers MyHealth portal.

Vaccination incentive program entry

Students and employees who were vaccinated somewhere other than Magers can sign up to be eligible. To be eligible for prizes:

  • Submit a copy of your COVID‑19 vaccination card or other written documentation to Magers. Options include:
  • The documentation will be entered into your electronic health record at Magers.
  • For employees and for students, I understand that my participation with this vaccination will be shared on my behalf with Missouri State University and I will be eligible for the Missouri State University incentives with this vaccine. If I elect to opt out of this information sharing, I will notify the Director of Magers Health Center, in writing. 
  • Check your immunization record through the Magers MyHealth Portal one week later to confirm the vaccination record has been entered.

Updated Clinic and Pharmacy Hours:

Magers Health and Wellness Center and Pharmacy will be closed on Labor Day (Monday, September 6).

  • Clinic Appointments: 8am-4pm, Monday - Friday
  • Pharmacy: 8am-6pm, Monday - Friday

Magers Health and Wellness Clinic:  

If you need to schedule a COVID-19 test, please schedule your same day appointment online by going to the MyHealth Portal.

The Medical Clinic is available to see individuals who need to be seen in person.

  • Please make sure to call the clinic before coming in so we can help you with your questions and your appointments.
  • Also, for the medical safety of patients and staff, everyone must wear a mask in Magers.
  • Please bring your mask when you com to Magers. If you don't have a mask, we will give one to you at the front door.
  • To reduce risks of exposure, please come to the appointment by yourself, unless you must have a translator or guardian.

Those who need medical assistance but do not need to be seen in person, will have the option of using our telemedicine services.

  • Telemedicine services will allow our Medical Staff to meet with patients and help them by telephone. We utilize your electronic medical record during the visit, so we have full access o your Magers medical records during the visit.
  • Our receptionist will help arrange a telemedicine visit if this is appropriate for you at this time.
  • Get started by completing the Telehealth Consent form.


The Pharmacy lobby is open. All prescriptions and over-the-counter (OTC) items are available in the lobby or through the pharmacy drive-thru.

Magers Health and Wellness Center is a medical home for the MSU community conveniently located on the Missouri State University campus next to the University bookstore.

Clinic Appointments

Patients are seen in the Magers Health and Wellness Center by appointment. A limited number of openings are available for sudden illness or injury.
