Cheers To Responsible Bears

CHEERS was designed to increase the number of designated drivers throughout the state of Missouri.  The CHEERS Program is designated driver recognition initiative that partners with local bars and restaurants to promote safe, sober driving.

How it works:
  • When a person volunteers to be the designated driver for their group or a friend, they can tell the server or bartender they're the designated driver.
  • Participating establishments then provide them with free non-alcoholic beverages (like soda, juice, or water) as a thank-you for helping keep everyone safe.
Purpose:

The CHEERS Program encourages responsible choices, prevents impaired driving, and supports a safer community - especially among college students and young adults.
