SoBEAR: Bears in Recovery

Missouri State University's SoBEAR: Bears in Recovery is a program dedicated to assisting students as they live a life in recovery. SoBEAR provides students with support group meetings, alternative sober activities, service work/community engagement, and a positive presence on the university campus as well as a safe and nonjudgmental community.

  • Weekly support group meetings every Monday at 1pm and Thursdays at 5pm in the Monroe Apartments Gathering Room. Come out for coffee and social hour before each meeting.
  • This group is for any college student who is in recovery, may be new to recovery or contemplating recovery and those who support recovery. Come meet others who are alcohol and drug free.
