Radiology

Magers Health and Wellness Center’s Radiology department provides radiography services to MSU students, faculty, staff, and their dependents (ages 6 and up). The images obtained help our skilled providers to diagnose and treat various types of injuries and diseases. At Missouri State, our new digital imaging equipment is specially calibrated to offer the lowest doses of radiation possible and you can trust that your x-rays will be reviewed by a highly trained board certified Radiologist.

Appointments are not necessary for an x-ray, however, a licensed medical physician’s order is required. Physician orders from any provider outside our clinic may be hand-delivered or faxed to the Radiology Department. All orders must include patient’s name, date of birth, x-ray exam specifications, proper diagnosis code(s), and pertinent history regarding the illness or injury. The referring physician’s signature is also required. Patients who are having orders faxed to this department should call ahead to verify receipt before coming in for their x-ray exam(s).

Please note: CAT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, bone scans, or mammograms are not performed in this facility. Appropriate referrals may be made to outside facilities for these services via an appointment with one of our providers.
